3 Quick Tips To Design Your Dream Nursery

Bratt President, Mary Bauer, made the television morning show circuit today, giving expectant moms quick tips to on creating their dream nursery space. She was on stations coast to coast, 28 in all. Bauer says that when designing a successful nursery you must first consider the space. Often the nursery is the smallest room in the house, and you want to maximize the space, by painting the room lighter colors and taking advantage of natural light. Second, you need to consider the functionality of the space. Basically, the baby needs to eat, sleep, and be changed. Setting up a well stocked changing station in advance is key to success. And, lastly, make the space personal. This room should make you feel connected. Consider adding some special momentos from your own childhood, perhaps your favorite bear, or your silver baby cup. "Every space should represent something of who you are, so its important to add pieces that are yours alone, with your special memories and feelings."
