Design the Perfect Nursery for Your Baby

n the past I have never put a crazy amount of thought into our nursery design. With Kelton we had a tight budget and I couldn't make up my mind. When I was expecting Kernan, I knew I wanted something simple and clean, plus he was staying in our room so there wasn't much planning needed. This time I am feeling the need to actually put a lot of thought and effort into our little girls room. Contemporary Elegance: Being as this is my first girl and my last baby, I want to enjoy the girly aspects of nursery decorating and our home is more traditional. So the 1st room I cam up with is very much with the flow of our home. I started with a beautiful crib and dresser from Bratt Decor with clean lines and beautiful detailing. I wanted to use rich color and keep it mature. So our little girl won't grow out of the style quickly. The Chelsea lifetime crib and dresser in antique silver, with a bold chandelier and custom bedding in satin was my desire. I love a classic rug to ground the room and a pretty floral wall art. My 2nd room design is very much a little girls dream room. I am in love with the oval shaped crib and the pin, white and gray colors. I didn't add bedding to this because if this is our choice, I will make the bedding in pink satin fabric. The design features bratt darling crib/cradle, darling dresser and book case in distressed white, the with min candelabra and cottage chic bed crown. For my 3rd option, I wanted a vintage classic feel with a pop. I love the softness of the pewter finish with a bold pop of bedding. With Bratt Decor you can really have it ll in one spot. You can always mix things up easily as well. Have a Different Vision? Bratt Decor also offers free design services to help you find your vision and create it.
