Moving a child from a crib to a big kid bed can be overwhelming for them. Adding the toddler rails to their baby crib eases the transition from crib to big kid bed by keeping the familiarity of the crib while allowing the independence and feeling that a big bed brings. The Chelsea toddler bed conversion kit includes the necessary side rails needed to convert the Chelsea crib into a standard toddler bed. No additional hardware is necessary. To ensure color match, this kit must be purchased at the same time as the crib. Once complete, the toddler bed will use the same mattress as your crib. This kit does not include headboards or mattress support and is not meant to function as a safety rail.
