Paramount in every parent’s mind when purchasing a crib, is safety. When it comes to making that decision, information is essential.
Bratt Decor takes safety concerns seriously and has taken every precaution to ensure that our cribs are among the worlds safest.
Every Bratt Decor crib is tested by an independent testing facility to ensure that it meets or exceeds all standards as required by the Consumer
Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the standards of the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials). Additionally,
we do constant internal testing to ensure compliance to these standards.

Bratt Decor, Inc has never had a crib recall. Thank the Lord.
Stephen and Mary started this company with the good news that they were expecting their first child,
and we never fail to consider that each crib holds a precious life. Safety is our first priority.
There have been millions of cribs recalled over the last two years due to drop gate issues. Although,
Bratt Decor, Inc has never had a recall, we decided that it would be prudent to do away with drop side gates altogether,
and officially switched all of our models from drop side to stationary gate in 2008. We feel the peace of mind is well worth
the change.

The CPSC is considering mandating all drop side cribs be banned early next year, which means any one still using a
drop side crib will be using a crib that does not meet federal standards. So, if you have a drop side crib, you may
want to consider discontinuing use and purchase a stationary gate crib. We do recognize the extraordinary expense in making
that decision, and have come up with some cost effective ways to help Bratt Decor moms keep babies their absolute safest.
