The perfect boy nursery

Little boys are just superheroes in disguise. If your hope is to create a definite masculine space for your baby boy, but want to avoid the man cave feel, follow these simple design steps and create a decidedly masculine space that is anything but obvious. Use A Darker Color Pallet Navy, Dark Gray, and Browns are traditionally very masculine hues. Consider incorporating these colors into your space. Go bold with paint or wallpaper. Or simply hint at the richer hues with trim for your bedding or in your window and floor treatments for a more subtle effect. Avoid pale or glossy colors. Use Traditionally Masculine Details Every space needs objects to bring it to light. Themes such as sports, animals and transportation are typically masculine and will create that energy when incorporated into a space. We recommend keeping themes to a minimum, which creates a more sophisticated style. Incorporate natural materials Wood, leather, and metal are very natural elements and can produce a very rustic sort of luxury. Furnishings with those details will naturally feel more masculine. To accent, consider a barn wood accent wall, or a more industrial light fixture. Less is more Feminine spaces tend to have an abundance of accessories and details, while more masculine spaces tend to have fewer. Focus on bold design, like chunky furniture and rich textures. Symmetrical lines are preferred over curvy ones.
