With so many options on the market, how can you know that the crib you are purchasing is a safe choice? The short answer is, do your homework. This is too big of an issue to leave to chance. Don’t just take the company’s word for it, and don’t rely solely on reviews, which can be faked. Research the company. Find out how long they’ve been in business. Ask if they’ve ever had a recall. Ask to see their test results. Remember, just because cribs look similar, doesn’t mean they are. Research is even more important if you’re making your purchasing decisions strictly from an image on the internet, where differences that can be felt aren’t always apparent from the photo.
